Zardari leaves for Dubai: reports

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari left for Dubai on a scheduled one-day trip on Thursday, local television stations reported.According to a report by the Associated Press, the president has left for Dubai where he will attend a wedding.The officials said Thursday the president would be back in Pakistan on Friday morning and that the trip was not connected to the current crisis.They didn’t give their names because they were not authorized to release the information.Earlier, sources close to the president told Reuters that he may arrive in Dubai on Thursday for further medical check ups following his admission to hospital there last month for heart treatment.The planned trip comes at time when Zardari is facing growing threats odetail
